OCULAR MUCORMYCOSIS MAY NEED A MULTI-PRONGED APPROACH ON A WAR PATH - AN OBSERVATIONAL STUDY

Mucor mycosis is a rare, fatal fungal infection caused by the species Rhizopus of family Mucoraceae. It has been on rise since advent COVID-19 pandemic due to plethora reasons. Ours an observational study ten cases Rhino-orbito-cerebral form mucor (ROCM) with intention spread awareness regarding significant implications ROCM. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment need hour multi-pronged approach ultimate goal salvaging lives. Always, clinicians should have high suspicion involvement central nervous system especially in orbital involvement.
